RED is the new BLACK
Me being up with the latest fashions and trends (not).
I would like to publicly say that in my opinion Red is the new Black, and take that further by saying that a brand such as Shanghai Tang will within 5 years be up there with the best of the best and NOT far off from brands such as Louis Vuitton, GUCCI, Prada and the like.
Mark my uneducated words ...

i believe shanghai tang actually sold out to Richemont a several years ago. no question the brand has been upgraded since, as before the products all were extremely poor quality, but if they hit the top ranks of world fashion they won't be doing it as an independent chinese brand but rather as a part of a large, swiss luxury conglomerate
